“Thank you for this wonderfull program with Jason Borger, his explanation was so real that with my eyes close I could see what he was doing with his rod and flies. Keep up the good work.”
“Mr. Borger's extensive experience and knowledge was obvious as he talked, and he was able to put some difficult concepts into words and relate them to listeners understanding through word pictures. I enjoyed the broadcast.”
“Great show last night. Plenty of useful information, even for the experienced angler. Problem was, there is so much to learn from him that he needs to come back! ”
“This was the first program I was able to listen to. I enjoyed it very much. Good information - well done.
Thank you for making this program available on the internet.”
“Jason Borger is the most interestig guest I have heard to date. He has a way of getting to the point, I can understand what the point is and apply the information right away. Thanks for a great show.”
“Excellent show. I have taken quite a bit from this show to use in my practice sessions. I am wondering how long I will have access to this exact show so I can review it at leisure?”
“Wow, what a great program! I enjoyed the range of topics Jason covered and the helpful suggestions - from the stretching and practicing before fishing to 'visualizing casting practice' for mending. There were a lot of hints and helps, as well as websites mentioned that I just couldn't catch the first time around. It would be nice to have a summary page of the interview that would list the info and sites - and Jason's offer for his book. Good job!”
“Wow-What a fantastic opportunity to learn from a master. Jason was very forthcoming with his teaching methods for casting along with general fishing tactics. Jason's delivery was very clear and thorough.”
“Gentelmen - As always I enjoyed the content very much. The eagerness of all your guests to share there knowledge is exciting and sometimes humorous. I am an iTunes subscriber from the start and have listened to all of your shows. The one suggestion I will make is to work on the audio quallity. The general volume is on the low side and the line levels seem to be off. I listen to the show live or by podcast. I listen to the podcast in a noisy environment and often it is difficult to here one of you while the other two are loud and clear. With that said thank you for producing a fantastic show. I am sure it is very difficult at times. I have learned volumes and have been entertained. Keep up the good work!”
“Excellent show. If I can remember 10% of what Jason talked about the next time I'm on the river, I'll be happy. Given that it's only a couple days before that happens, I don't have an excuse that too much time has passed!”
“I very much enjoyed listening to your interview with Jason. Had to be via the recording hence this late comment. Thanks for including my question too.”
“I didn't get to listen to the entire show but I enjoyed the portion I was able to listen to very much. This is really an interesting concept. I will try to catch more of your shows.
We had great fishing in the Hills this weekend-- the weather was lousy but the fishing excellent. We had a lot of dry fly action and caught a lot of very nice size, healthy fish.
I hope we can get together for some fishing in the near future.
”
“Hay guys, I thought the show was great. I thought the tips Jason gave even though only listening to them on-line really helped give me some tips I can implament to improve my skills. I plan to start teaching fly fishing next yaer and I'm looking to improve my skills as much as possible to justify charging people for my services. I've taught myself through books, tapes, videos and some classes and am passionate about fly fishing and fly tying. I also want you to tell Jason for me that I e-mailed him some time ago with a question regarding a scene from the movie "A River Runs Through It" I didn't exactlly expect him to e-mail me back being I know he's very busy, but within a few days I got a very nice e-mail back from him. I'm looking forward to buying his book on casting some day and hopefully the dvd or video that goes with it to help improve my skills even more. With his help and others like Lefty Kreh, Joan Wulff, Dave whitlock, A.K. Best and John Gierach, just to name a few, I know my skills have improved many fold. Just to rap up this e-mail about your fantastic web site as well as the guests you have on I would like to through out a couple of knot alternatives, not that you guys haven't already heard of them, but I have two knots on my desk top, the George Harvey dry fly knot and the needleless nail knot, I would like to offer to other listeners of your show. If you would like me to send them to you just let me know, I would be more than happy to send them to you. Thanks again for your great on-line radio show.”
“I listened to this on my Ipod on the way home from work in traffic.
I was fortunate enough to take a casting lesson with him at a show in College Park Maryland last winter and he had me able to reliably cast into a 30 mph wind with a 4 wt.
It was a great refresher! ”
“I got a chance to listen to the broadcast last night. I just got back from taking September off and listened to it while going through a bunch of email. As usual I found it entertaining and informative. I have downloaded it so I can go back and listen to it again with more focus. I have discovered something about myself that makes me grateful for the ability to download your programs. I can't focus on more than one thing at a time. No comments please! Thanks again for putting on the show and for letting us download it so we can listen to it again.”
